[ BIOGRAPHY ]

Josh Corson is a literary artist originally from Tampa, FL. He holds an MFA in Poetry from the University of Pittsburgh and currently teaches at Hillsborough College. Josh has received fellowships & residencies from Tin House, Juniper Institute, Atlantic Center for the Arts,
and Vermont Studio Center. His videos, essays, and poetry have appeared or are forthcoming in
Triquarterly, Notre Dame Review, Permafrost,
The McNeese Review, and others.

Currently, Josh is a Tenure-Track Instructor in the English Department at Hillsborough College. Josh's student-centered instructional method combines a variety of differentiated teaching strategies, such as energy checks, metacognitive exercises, collaborative assignments, experiential learning trips, and labor-based grading structures, which encourage creative exploration rather than grade fixation.​
